IV ◇ Immersive Scotland
The Bothy Experience

A fully immersive Scottish tasting experience — landscapes, sound and scent that move around you.

Step in and the city goes quiet. The Bothy is a timber cabin built inside the house, its walls, ceiling and end screen given over entirely to immersive projection. A single long dining table runs the length of the room, dressed with candles, heavy-based whisky tumblers and nosing glasses, surrounded by deep amber velvet chairs.
The room transforms around you. The screens carry you from a coastal Islay location — salt air, peat smoke, crashing Atlantic light — to the beautiful shores of Speyside, where slow rivers run through golden barley fields and the air carries the soft sweetness of malt and oak. Infused scents drift through the room with each scene: brine and heather, warm peat and toasted grain. The imagery, sound and scent shift with each pour, so the same whisky reveals itself differently every time.
A host guides you through a tasting chosen to match the landscape on the walls, explaining the provenance, the cask and the character in every glass. It is a vivid, sensory introduction for the whisky-curious and a genuine pleasure for the already converted.
